Troy running back Jordan Chunn scores a touchdown during the first half of the Dollar General Bowl against Ohio University in Mobile on Friday night.
The TD run was set up after Brandon Silvers completed a 47-yard pass to Deandre Douglas on Troy’s first offensive play. The Trojans’ defense forced a three-and-out on Ohio’s opening possession of the game.
Chunn, a junior, broke the record previously held by former Dothan High standout Joe Jackson (1994-97), who rushed for 34 career touchdowns.
Chunn scored his second touchdown of the game late in the first quarter on a 3-yard run, which tied him for second in Troy history with Jeremy Rowell (1994) for single season rushing touchdowns with 15.
