NEW ORLEANS – Everybody knew to watch Troy’s senior running back in his final game.
But most eyes were searching for Jordan Chunn – who couldn’t play due to a knee injury.
Instead, backup running back Josh Anderson went out in style. Anderson, the 5-11, 250-pound senior from Douglasville, Ga., set career highs with 113 yards rushing on 22 carries. He finished with two touchdowns and set an early physical tone for the Trojans.
Playing largely behind Chunn, Anderson wouldn’t let the opportunity to start his final game pass him by.
