TROY, Ala. – Troy baseball has been named to D1 Baseball's biannual list of top-100 programs, the publication announced Monday. The Trojans clock in at 91 one on the list after not making the list in 2017, the last year the rankings were released.
"To be considered one of the best 100 programs in the country is a testament to hard work by our players and coaches the last few years," head coach Mark Smartt said. "Being ranked in this poll is a positive for everyone involved with Troy baseball."
D1 Baseball sites Troy's three regional appearances this decade, its quality facilities and solid fan base as grounds for its ranking.
