SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Troy Men's Basketball team polishes off 2021 with a huge 78-63 victory over Texas State on 54.7 percent shooting from the field in Strahan Arena on Friday.
Led by Efe Odigie with a season-high 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting, the Trojans (10-4, 1-0 Sun Belt) were able to start their Sun Belt Conference season with a victory.
Outscoring the Bobcats (9-4, 0-1 Sun Belt) 33-24 at the break, the Trojans entered the locker room on a roll and rode the wave to the finish. Troy is now winners of five straight as it continues the best start since the 2003-04 season.
