LAFAYETTE, La.- The Troy track and field team concluded its Sun Belt Championship weekend at the Ragin' Cajuns Track Facility on Saturday, with the men finishing seventh and women in 10th as multiple Trojans claimed podium spots.
Edita Sklenska became the first Trojan to claim gold with a first-place finish in the women's 800-meter run. The junior took home her third win of the season in the event with a final time of 2:07.48 for 10 points. Javon Osbourne claimed his second podium finish of the weekend, upgrading to the silver medal in the men's discus event.
