JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Nicole Lorup turned in three rounds under par to lead Troy to a second-place finish at the First Coast Classic at the Deerwood Country Club with play concluding Tuesday. Lorup shot 5-under for the tournament and finished second individually. Troy's team score ranks as the third lowest in school history while Lorup's mark is the sixth best in Troy history.
Troy led the field with 43 birdies as a unit while Lorup's 11 birdies were tied for the fourth most and Anna Claire Little's 10 birdies tied for the seventh most.
