Troy sophomore linebacker Tron Folsom never remembers recording 16 tackles in a game.
“I don’t even think I had that in high school. It’s a great feeling, though,” he said.
Folsom was all over the field during the Trojans’ 24-21 home win against Idaho on Thursday night. He made nine solo stops and seven assists to double his previous high of eight tackles in a game, last done against New Mexico State earlier this season.
“I wasn’t really counting because the way that offense was set up, coach (defensive coordinator Vic Koenning) was telling me the beginning of the game I would come up with a lot of tackles because they never work up to the linebackers,” Folsom said.
