Troy football uses a fourth-quarter interception for TD to top Texas State, 31-28

Troy football beat Texas State 31-28 on Saturday in San Marco, Texas, forcing four second-half turnovers.

Keyshawn Swanson had a 33-yard interception return with eight minutes for what became the game-winning score for the Trojans (4-3, 2-1 Sun Belt). Elijah Culp and Taiyon Palmer also had interceptions.

Kimani Vidal ran for 162 yards and two scores to pace the Troy offense. Gunner Watson went 22 for 29 for 182 yards with a touchdown. Tez Johnson had nine catches for 81 yards and caught a touchdown pass.
