Brown’s name has somehow been mentioned with nearly every coaching vacancy that has popped up since the end of the regular season. Louisville. Texas Tech. Kansas State. Put another way for fans of It’s a Wonderful Life , every time a bell rings, Neal Brown is a candidate in another coaching search.
Athletics director Jeremy McClain, asked about the fact that Brown has been a target in the offseason, smiled and said something like it’s good to have your guys wanted by others.
