TROY, Alabama – Sun Belt Conference champion Troy took full advantage of the NCAA's new early signing period inking 14 players to a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday. Head coach Neal Brown and his staff landed nine players from the state of Alabama with an overall balance in the class of nine high school players and five junior college transfers.
Troy, which finished the year 11-2 with a New Orleans Bowl title, focused heavily in the trenches with four offensive linemen and five defensive linemen signed during the early period.
