Troy Falters in Overtime Against Belmont

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A two-game win streak comes to a halt for the Troy women's basketball team after fumbling a six-point lead to Belmont entering the fourth quarter, 98-87 at the Curb Event Center on Tuesday afternoon.

For the second time this season, the Trojans fall in overtime to finish their non-conference schedule at 5-6 while the Bruins (4-7) climb closer to .500.

Tai'Sheka Porchia (15-12) and Ja'Mia Hollings (19-10) ended the afternoon with double-double performances for 34 points and 22 rebounds combined. Makayia Hallmon led the team in scoring, willing the team with 22 points on 9-of-23 shooting.
