Wesley Kirchharr Staff Writer Troy fell to the Boise State Broncos 24-13 in the kickoff to a much-anticipated kickoff of the 2017 season. The Broncos jumped out to an early lead, scoring on an 81-yard punt return for a touchdown even before the Broncos could run their first offensive play. Troy bounced back with a field goal before the first quarter expired, put them behind 7-3 heading into the second quarter. Troy made their first trip to the endzone when cornerback Blace Brown took an interception all the way for six points. It was their last trip there for the day.
