TROY, Ala. – Troy dropped its first contest of the year in the series finale to Louisiana Tech, 9-0, Sunday afternoon at Riddle-Pace Field. The Trojans still picked up their second series victory of the season after defeating the Bulldogs in games one and two of the series.
The Louisiana Tech (5-2) bats finally came to life after being held mostly silent in the first two games of the series. For the first time this season, Troy (7-1) struggled to get anything going offensively. was able to extend his career-long hitting streak to 14 games with a single in the bottom of the third.
