TROY, Alabama – Troy posted a .390 attack percentage en route to a dominating, 3-0 (25-11, 25-11, 25-13) victory over Southern on opening night in Trojan Arena.
The Trojans' (1-0) attacking percentage was their highest single-game total since the 2014 season, led by a .667 from junior . Troy was off to a slow start in set one, leading the Jaguars (0-2) 11-9 before Moore sparked a massive run with four kills and a block – Troy scored 12 of the next 13 points.
Much like the first one, Troy took complete control of the second set with a huge run – jumping out to a 17-5 advantage.
