TROY – Troy University athletics director Jeremy McClain and a number of Trojan coaches are going to have plenty to talk about on the upcoming Trojan Tour 2017, which kicked off with essentially a home pep rally at the Stadium Club Tuesday night.
“It’s been a phenomenal year, a banner year for Troy athletics,” McClain noted before the event started. “…We were the only Division I program in the country to win both the men’s and women’s basketball conference tournaments and win a bowl game. That says a lot about how difficult it is to do that.”
The Troy AD certainly had a fitting backdrop as he talked about the solid foundation on which the overall program finds itself.
