TROY – Anybody who saw Brent Jones on the Trojan Tour couldn’t help but be impressed with the new Troy athletic director’s energy and enthusiasm.
“The first thing you think of is energy and work ethic,” Lindsey said Wednesday when asked about his now new boss. “He’s willing to do anything, whatever it takes. He expects the guys under him to do that, too – which you like. I think he’s got a great relationship with our boosters, our donors, our alumni. It’s just a really good day here at Troy.”
New Troy basketball coach Scott Cross said he was “super fired up” with Jones’ promotion.
