A consistently powerful offense has buoyed Boise State’s rise to prominence, and now the Troy Trojans will try to ground that attack today.
Last year, the Broncos averaged almost 34 points per game and return two top playmakers from that unit: quarterback Brett Rypien and wide receiver Cedrick Wilson.
Troy defensive coordinator Vic Koenning said the tandem, especially Wilson, provides a tremendous challenge heading into the Trojans’ 2:45 p.m. battle with the Broncos.
“The big issue obviously is you have a receiver that is the quality where you almost don’t have anybody who can match up,” he said.
