TROY, Alabama – Troy women's basketball head coach Chanda Rigby announced the addition of transfer Chelsey Gibson to the Trojan roster on Thursday.
Gibson comes to Troy after spending last season at Marquette where the Pensacola native was a member of the Golden Eagles team that won the Big East Tournament and earned the program's first NCAA berth since 2011. Gibson transferred to Marquette from Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, Florida.
"I have watched Chelsey grow as a player since her high school days at Pensacola High School playing under Coach Allison Davis," Rigby said.
