TROY, Ala. – Troy will host Alabama State and AUM in a pair of fall exhibitions at Riddle-Pace Field in November, head coach Mark Smartt announced Tuesday.
Troy will welcome Alabama State for a 12-inning game on Nov. 2 and AUM for a 16-inning game on Nov. 4. The Trojans defeated the Hornets in both meetings in 2017 but have not faced the Warhawks since the 1995 season.
The squad will take advantage of a new NCAA Division I rule that allows teams to play fall exhibition games without them counting against the 56-game spring schedule.
