TROY – Troy will play three of its first four games at home and will end the regular season with an anticipated showdown against current league champion Appalachian State.
The Trojans, who shared the Sun Belt East crown with Appalachian State last season, learned the rest of their 2019 football schedule Friday.
Troy’s annual “Battle for the Belt” game against rival South Alabama is the only mid-week game currently on the schedule. ESPN2 will broadcast the Trojans and Jaguars at The Vet on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Troy’s open dates are in Week 2 on Sept. 7 and surrounding that Oct.
