MOBILE — Emanuel Thompson wasn’t going to let a little ol’ broken arm keep him from a bowl game.
Thompson, after breaking his right arm in Troy’s regular-season finale, weathered a large black pad and a little pain on each catch to help the Trojans in a 28-23 win over Ohio on Friday in the Dollar General Bowl.
Thompson finished with a team-high eight catches for 83 yards and a touchdown.
With a broken arm.
“I knew I was going to play the whole time,” Thompson said. “I knew it was going to hurt, but this is our last game.
