HATTIESBURG, Miss. – After a brief Christmas break, the Troy men's basketball team travels to Hattiesburg, Miss., to open conference play against its newest Sun Belt opponent, Southern Miss.
For the Trojans (8-5) to win, they need to succeed in the Reed Green Coliseum at 7 p.m. for the first time in program history – Troy is 0-9 on the road against the Golden Eagles.
Troy (8-5) looks to start 1-0 in Sun Belt play for the fourth consecutive year and open its title run despite being ranked 10th in the Preseason Polls with 76 votes.
