TROY, Ala. – It was a packed Riddle-Pace Field Tuesday night, but the visiting Auburn Tigers took home the win 11-4 over the Trojans, sweeping the season series.
With the loss, Troy (29-18, 13-11) sees their first four-game losing streak of the season after the Tigers (33-16, 13-11) use 17 hits and runs in three straight innings, including back-to-back four-run frames in the third and fourth to seal the victory.
Making his third consecutive mid-week appearance, Trojan starter (3-3) picks up the loss after allowing nine runs on nine hits in three innings of work.
