Ta'Kierra Gibbs, known as KG, is a senior social science major from Eatonton, Georgia. KG is a member of the Troy women's basketball team where she plays guard. Before playing at Troy, KG attended and played at Central Georgia Technical College in Macon, Georgia. It was in Eatonton where Gibbs fell in love with the game of basketball.
"You don't see anything but trees," said Gibbs with a smile. "All I did was go to class and play basketball everyday. That was the reason I was so good because you didn't have anything else to do.
