TROY, Ala. – Tiyah Johnson was one of seven Sun Belt student-athletes to earn a 2022 Sun Belt Conference Postgraduate Scholarship, the league office announced on Monday.
"This scholarship is going to a very deserving person," head coach Chanda Rigby said. "Tiyah is one of the hardest workers I've ever coached. She cares deeply about her academics. I'm so thankful this scholarship will give her the opportunity to continue her education."
Johnson was selected by the Sun Belt's Postgraduate Scholarship Committee, comprised of Faculty Athletic Representatives from across the conference, to receive a $3,000 scholarship to help with her postgraduate studies.
