TROY, Ala. – Troy University's men's golf, women's golf and women's cross country programs received Public Recognition Awards on Wednesday as part of the NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR) program for the 2016-17 academic year.
All three programs recorded perfect 1,000 APR scores for the reporting period. This marks the fourth-straight year that the women's golf program has earned an NCAA Public Recognition Award, while women's cross country earned the award for the second year in a row.
"We experience a great sense of pride when our student-athletes succeed on the academic level," Troy Athletics Director Jeremy McClain said.
