TROY, Alabama – The Troy women's basketball team looks to build on its performance on Friday with a 1 p.m. contest against Georgia State on Sunday in Trojan Arena.
Amber Rivers' 20 points led the Trojans (6-6, 1-0) to an 88-47 victory over Georgia Southern on Friday. Kayla Robinson was also red-hot going 7-for-8 from the field and finished with 16 points, six rebounds and six assists.
Georgia State (4-8, 0-1) dropped its Sun Belt Conference opener 88-52 at South Alabama, but were missing leading scorer Shay Fluker, who is averaging 16.
