TROY, Ala. – The Sun Belt Conference announced the women's basketball conference slate for the 2021-22 season Wednesday afternoon.
For the first time since the 2011-12 season, the League will play a 16-game conference schedule, with the Trojans playing eight of those games inside Trojan Arena. Last season's conference schedule was supposed to be a 16-game schedule before Covid-19 forced revisions back to an 18-game conference slate. Divisions will not be used this season.
"I'm thankful that the Sun Belt Conference has released a conference schedule," head coach Chanda Rigby said. "I know our leaders in the conference office worked tirelessly to work out a schedule that is as fair as it can be.
