In his first season as an NFL starter, the New England Patriots' Malcolm Butler was one of the original eight cornerbacks selected to play in last year's Pro Bowl. The Pro Bowl roster for the 2016 season was announced on Tuesday night, and the former West Alabama standout wasn't on it.
Maybe that was an oversight.
On Saturday, Butler came up with three turnovers to set up 17 points in New England's 41-3 victory over the New York Jets.
In the first quarter, Butler's interception at the New York 47-yard line preceded New England's first touchdown of the game.
