State NFL roundup: League's fastest player equals Gale Sayers' feat

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill did something on Sunday night that hadn't been accomplished in the NFL since Pro Football Hall of Famer Gale Sayers did it 51 years ago.

In the Chicago Bears' 45-37 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Oct. 17, 1965, Sayers scored touchdowns on receptions of 18 and 25 yards, a run of 10 yards and a kickoff return of 96 yards.

In Kansas City's 30-27 overtime victory against the Denver Broncos, Hill became the first NFL player since Sayers' performance to score TDs on a run, a reception and a return in the same game.
