Chicago Bears running back Jordan Howard reached career highs with 36 rushing attempts for 167 yards in a 27-24 overtime victory against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
With rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky making his first NFL road start, the Bears let Howard carry the load on offense. Trubisky threw only 16 passes in the game.
"He ran like a warrior today," Trubisky said of Howard.
With Chicago backed up to its 7-yard line on its second possession of overtime, Howard (Gardendale, UAB) broke a 53-yard run to send the Bears on the way to the game-ending field goal.
