State NFL roundup: Jameis Winston back for Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went with the hot hand for their NFL game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. But it appears likely Jameis Winston will be getting his old job back next time out.

Winston had been the Bucs' starting quarterback since being selected with the No. 1 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. But the former Hueytown High School standout missed the first three games of the 2018 campaign while on an NFL-imposed suspension for violating the league's Personal Conduct Policy

With Winston out, journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick stepped in and became the first player in NFL history to pass for at least 400 yards in three consecutive games.
