State NFL roundup: Jameis Winston accomplishes unique passing feat

Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston became the first player in NFL history to pass for at least 4,000 yards in each of his first two seasons as the Buccaneers closed the 2016 campaign with a 17-16 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Winston completed 20-of-35 passes for 202 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The former Hueytown High School star tossed a 10-yard touchdown pass to complete an eight-play, 74-yard drive with 3:13 left in the game to break a 10-10 tie.
