New Louisiana Tech football coach Sonny Cumbie retained three members of the former staff under Skip Holtz. It's now two after the departure of running backs coach Brock Hays to take the same position at Troy, according to a report from FootballScoop.
It now leaves Paul Turner (safeties), Anthony Camp (linebackers) along with Teddy Veal (offensive analyst) and Gary Cioffi (offensive assistant) as holdovers from the 2021 season.
In his three seasons, the Bulldogs averaged 129.8 yards per game and scored 53 touchdowns.
The best season for the rushing attack under Hays was in 2019 during his first season.
