The Troy softball team wrapped up its last weekend of tournaments before entering conference play this past weekend. The Trojans finished the weekend 4-1 with their only loss coming from No. 13 South Carolina.
Troy’s offense recorded 22 hits to take a pair of wins Friday afternoon at Eddie C. Moore Field. Leanna Johnson pitched a shutout over Furman before closing out the win over Binghamton.
Johnson scattered seven hits over 10 innings of work to lead Troy in the circle. Brooke Echols led the way offensively with four RBIs after hitting a three-run shot against Furman.
