TROY — A recent injury sent one true freshman from Troy’s depth chart to a likely redshirt.
Cornerback Orlando Lacey has missed a “couple of weeks” after a “little tweak on his knee,” coach Neal Brown said, and now isn’t expected to play this year. Lacey is an Opp native.
“I think he will be back on the field in two or three (weeks), but we are going to redshirt him,” Brown said Monday. “He is a guy that I was really excited about. Until he got injured he was probably a guy that was getting ready to play.
