TROY, Ala. – Seven Troy student-athletes were among the nearly 500 graduates who received their degrees from Troy University during a ceremony Friday in Trojan Arena.
Troy mayor Jason Reeves provided the keynote address to the graduates, who represented 28 U.S. states, one territory and nine countries outside of the United States.
Football and men's track & field each had a pair of student-athletes earn their degrees, while men's golf, softball and women's tennis each had one.
Reeves has served as Mayor of Troy since November 2012. He served in his city council seat representing District 3 for 16 years prior to becoming Mayor.
