DADE CITY, Fla. – Troy rebounded from a rocky start to Monday's opening round of the Spring Break Shootout to finish the day in a tie for sixth place following 36 holes at the Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club.
The Trojans found themselves 9-over par as a team after just the first four holes of the day among the four counting scores at the time, from that point on Troy's four counters shot just 6-over as the Trojans shot 15-over for the opening round.
ShaeLee Scarberry had the biggest rebound of the opening round after she sat 7-over par with two bogeys, a double and a triple after four holes.
