GAME NOTES This time, however, the 4 p.m. matchup is taking place in the Cajun Dome where Troy fell in the regular season a year ago and is just 2-8 all-time despite leading the overall series, 11-10. The good news for the Trojans is that the team seemed to break its road curse with an 86-79 victory at ULM on Thursday.
LAFAYETTE, Louisiana – On Saturday, Troy and UL Lafayette face off for the first time since the Trojans claimed the program's second straight Sun Belt Conference Tournament title in New Orleans' Lakefront Arena in March.
