TROY, Ala. – The Troy Trojans completed the opening weekend sweep of Holy Cross Sunday afternoon after a 6-1 win from Riddle-Pace Field.
This is the first opening weekend sweep since 2020, when the Trojans opened the season and swept Northern Kentucky.
"It was a great weekend," head coach said. "Our offense turned the corner, and we played great defense throughout. We are establishing our identity, and this weekend, we saw the recipe for success, and we got to continue to do that."
Troy (4-0) outscored the Crusaders 44 to 8 across all four games.
