TROY, Alabama – Troy head football coach Chip Lindsey rounded out his on-field coaching staff on Thursday with the addition of Ray Brown to coach on the defensive side of the football; Lindsey will announce complete staff roles at a later date.
Brown joins the Troy staff following three seasons at Abilene Christian where he coached the defensive backs. The Wildcats were among the best in the nation defensively in 2018 and set a school record for interceptions.
"Ray will bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to our program and is a great addition to our strong defensive staff," Lindsey said.
