AUBURN, Alabama – Two outdoor school records and eight personal-bests were broken as Troy competed at the Tiger Track Classic this weekend.
Senior Riley Schwietz set a new all-time heptathlon record by recording 5,131 points in the multi event – the previous record was 5,049 set by Juzil Rudolph in 2007. Schwietz also set personal-bests in the high jump with a 1.53-meter leap and in the shot put with an 11.81-meter toss.
The Trojans' women's 4x400-meter relay team – comprised of Precious Ogba, Tiarra Bailey, Alexandria Rankin and Madison Kennedy – set themselves atop the school record list with a 3:43.
