PENSACOLA, Florida – Daren Osby tossed six solid innings and Justin Friend hit a 3-run home run to lead Troy past Seton Hall, 6-3, Friday afternoon in the opener of the Cox Diamond Invitational at Blue Wahoo Stadium.
Knotted at two in the bottom of the fifth inning, Friend hammered an 0-1 fastball over the wall in right-center field to put Troy (6-3) in front. Troy improved to 6-0 on the season when scoring first, and it was the Trojans' fifth win in their past six games.
