TROY, Alabama – Drew Frederic drove in four runs as Troy pounded on 19 hits in a 15-4 thumping of ULM to open a three-game Sun Belt Conference series on Friday at Riddle-Pace Field.
The Trojans (26-24, 13-12 SBC) recorded nine extra base hits, including six doubles and scored in all but three innings to take the first game of the crucial conference series. Frederic led the charge going 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and a triple.
All nine Troy starters finished with a base hit and eight had RBIs as the Trojans scored reached the 15-run plateau for the second time in six games.
