ATHENS, Georgia - The No. 64 Troy men's golf team had a solid day on the course Friday as the Trojans picked up match play victories over No. 24 Georgia and No. 35 North Florida at the University of Georgia Golf Course; Troy and Georgia also tied on the day.
The two victories come at a key time in the season as Troy heads to the Sun Belt Championship on April 23-25 to defend its conference title. The winner of the league title receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals, while the cutoff for an at-large position fell to the 64th-ranked team in the country last year.
