TROY, Ala. - Troy secures the No. 11 seed in the Roman College Basketball Invitational with a first-round matchup set against No. 6-seed Abilene Christian. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Daytona Beach Center.
"We are extremely excited about the opportunity to play Abilene Christian in the first round of the Roman College Basketball Invitation," head coach Scott Cross said. "ACU is a very well-coached basketball team that plays extremely hard. They are very disruptive defensively, leading the country in turnovers forced per game. We know that every postseason basketball game will be tough and that there are no easy games, so we will just have to find a way to be the toughest team.
