TROY, Alabama – Rigsby Mosley became the first Trojan in four years to hit a grand slam to push Troy past UT Arlington, 8-4, in Friday's Sun Belt series opener at Riddle-Pace Field.
Troy (29-13, 12-7) was locked in a tight, one-run game in the seventh when the redshirt freshman Mosley delivered the big blast – the first since David Hall launched one against UT Arlington on April 26, 2014.
The homer was the Trojans' second of the game, as Drew Frederic hit a solo shot in the bottom of the third – he finished 3-for-4 with three runs scored, two RBIs, the homer and a double.
