TROY, Ala. – Troy travels to Southern Miss on Wednesday afternoon for a Sun Belt Conference match after rain washed out their originally scheduled date for this past Sunday. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
Troy (13-4, 1-2 SBC) is coming off back-to-back heartbreaking losses to Old Dominion and Louisiana in matches that lasted more than four hours and came down to the final court. Southern Miss (6-9, 0-2) dropped its opening two league matches to South Alabama and Coastal Carolina.
Freshman Mario Martinez Serrano brings a six-match winning streak and 15-2 dual match record with him to Hattiesburg on Wednesday; he is 14-2 on court one this spring.
