TROY, Alabama – The Troy men's golf team returns to the course this weekend for the first time since October as the Trojans open their spring schedule at the SunTrust Gator Invitational hosted by Florida at the Mark Bostick Golf Course.
A field featuring six top-35 teams awaits the Trojans in Gainesville, including No. 5 Vanderbilt and No. 6 Florida. Troy will get an early spring look at a pair of league foes as Georgia Southern and Coastal Carolina will also make the trip to the Gator Invitational.
"We're in a great tournament that traditionally has a strong field and this year is no different from top to bottom," Troy head coach Bart Barnes said.
