WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Troy maintained its standing on the leaderboard following Sunday's final round of the Boilermaker Invitational at the windy Ackerman-Allen Golf Course as the Trojans took home a sixth-place finish among the field of 14 teams.
Kyle Cornelius blistered the course with five birdies on the day as he shot a 1-under 70 to climb 14 spots on the leaderboard into a tie for 20th place to lead the Trojans. He raced out to 3-under par after seven holes, made the turn at 2-under before he finished with his fourth under-par round of the season.
